Foundation Projects
The Capital City Civitan Foundation was proud to sponsor scholarships for a number of years. We have worked with North Carolina District East and with Civitan International through the Shropshire Scholarships, which are awarded each year to Civitans, Junior Civitans, and Campus Civitans.
In 2013 - 2014, the Capital City Civitan Foundation was dissolved and the monies were disbursed to two local organizations for special projects.

- An upgraded playground for children at the Frankie Lemmon School & Developmental Center, which was dedicated in September 2014
- Project C.A.T.C.H. and a children's playroom at the Salvation Army's Center of Hope Women & Children's Emergency Shelter
