This is the online home of the Capital City Civitan Club, a community service organization for men and women in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The club was chartered in August 1957 and is part of Region 3 District of Civitan International.
Meetings of the Capital City Civitan Club are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Stars & Strikes on Capital Boulevard in Raleigh. The Club Meetings & Events page of this site contains information about the agenda, upcoming meetings, and various activities and events.
Capital City Civitan also has a variety of service projects that it supports, which are detailed on the Hands-On Projects webpages. This variety of projects means that every member, retired or working, can participate.
The Civitan motto is "Builders of Good Citizenship" and the purpose of Civitan is to provide members opportunities for personal development while improving the world through community service, as outlined in the Civitan Creed.
